The generator at a power plant produces AC at 26,000 V. A transformer steps this up to 355,000 V for transmission over power lines. If there are 2,250 turns of wire in the input coil of the transformer, how many turns must there be in the output coil?

355 kV is high, but 500 kV is maximum employed in the USA. The Kazakhstanis had a piece at 1150 kV for a while, but it is now operated at 500 kV. Hydro-Quebec operates some lines at 765 kV.
