Each leaf is subjected to an analysis to determine how many mg of chlorophyll is present. What type of graph would be most appropriate for presenting the results of this experiment and why?

A graph has two dimensions, the vertical and horizontal. In choosing which type of graph to employ one should look at the kind of data one has. In this case, we see categories of trees and their respective quantitative mass of chlorophyll in each leaf. Thus a bar graph or bar chart (or the equivalent term preferred by you instructor).
