I don't think there were many similarities, but there were similarities based on each nation being dedicated to its own spirituality. In 1492, the first lasting came when the Arawak, Taino, and Lucayan people encountered Christopher Columbus. This relationship was based on trade and shared dedication to spirituality. Thus, this was mostly ended by disease and other conflicts.
