A. A goat converts the energy in glucose sugar from plants into ATP through cellular respiration.
Goats, as herbivores, obtain energy by consuming plants. The energy in the glucose sugar found in plants is converted into ATP through a process called cellular respiration. This process occurs in the mitochondria of cells and involves the breakdown of glucose and the production of ATP, which is used as an energy source for the body's functions.

Nobody extracts ATP from plants, by digestion or otherwise. It's a high-energy molecule, and it would hydrolyse in processing. Changing food into protein is one ultimate use, but not general enough. Goats do not photosynthesize. Neither do polar bears, even though their pelt hairs are sometimes green with incorporated algae; it's not a symbiotic relationship. Getting a clue?01/13/23
