Abdul drove to the mountains last weekend...

Abdul drove to the mountains last weekend. There was heavy traffic on the way there, and the trip took hours. When Abdul drove home, there was no traffic and the trip only took hours. If his average rate was miles per hour faster on the trip home, how far away does Abdul live from the mountains?
Do not do any rounding.

You did not say how many hours each trip took!

First, you need to know the number of hours to the mountains (with heavy traffic) and the number of hours from the mountains (with no traffic).

Second, you need to know the average rate of miles per hours for the trip to the mountains or from the mountains.

To solve:
(# of hours to the mountains) multiplied by (mph to the mountains)
or
(# of hours from the mountains) multiplied by (mph from the mountains)
