Almost (all?) religions that don't just result from perverse evil have a natural religion core, a core from reason.
So you have "thou shalt not kill" as almost universal. The 10 Commandments are natural law. No Israelite said "Oh, really, I shalt not steal, what a surprise!!"
I respect people, not religions. And insofar as I can think of a religion that for example despised reason, I would think that religion immoral perverse and blind.
THe clue is that there must be things you have no respect for and calling it a religion can hardly make a difference, can it?
