Jimmy,
All four cell types are somatic cells and therefore, each of them has specific but limited ability to undergo repair through division and proliferation in the event of injury. The ability to divide and proliferate through division declines with age; it is also tissue-dependent.
Blood cells (RBC) are enucleated and therefore when blood count falls down then bone-marrow generates more blood cells by erythropoiesis.
Different kinds of WBCs undergo cell-division in response to stimuli such as infection, cytokines and other immune response.
Neurons and muscle cells also decline in their efficiency of repair and proliferation in age-dependent manner.
Cells in GO prior to adulthood are known as quiescent cells that would divide as necessary: in response to injury and stimuli.
In older adults, cells would enter GO and divide if they are not senescent.
Hope this helps.
