Define the formula for a parabola (a quadratic function) that has horizontal intercepts (roots) at x=6.1 and x=1.4  and passes through the point (0,3.3).

3.3=a(-6.1)(-1.4)

a=3.3/(6.1)(1.4)=3.3/8.56

a= 330/856=115/428

y=(115/428)(x-6.1)(x-1.4)

y=(115/428)(x^-7.5x+8.56)
