This approach allows for the integration of science and education within the context of local cultures. Also Muslims influenced art and architecture, which Islamic art and architecture have a distinct style characterized by intricate geometric patterns, calligraphy, and arabesque designs. In culturally diverse regions, such as Southeast Asia or West Africa, Islamic art may incorporate local artistic traditions and motifs, resulting in a fusion of styles. For example, the mosque architecture in Southeast Asia often blends Islamic and indigenous architectural elements.
