Original point: (4,3)
Run: -5 (Remember we run horizontally, just like the x-axis so this will affect your x coordinate)
- Since the run is a negative you will subtract that from the x-value (4 - 5 = -1)
- our new x-coordinate is -1
Rise: -2 (Things rise or fall vertically like our y-axis, so this wil affect your y-coordinate)
- Since the rise is negative we will subtract it from the given y-value of 3 (3 - 2 = 1)
- Our new y coordinate is 1
Combine into ordered pair form and you get (-1,1)
