This depends on how much (weight %) the test is worth in the class. If the test is 50% of your grade then your 99 would drop to a 74.5. But if the test is worth 25% then your grade would drop to 86.75.

This is my math:

Grade x Weight / 100

Ex. if you got a 50 on a test that is work 25% of your grade and you currently have a 99 (assume the 99 is making up 75% of grade)

[(50 x 25) + (99 x 75)] / 100 = 86.75
