The American people's role in the seven years' war primarily revolves around The French and Indian War- which would see the French colonists bear arms against British colonies in an attempt to secure their territorial possessions.
The war was primarily motivated by a concern about colonial borders, control of which would be lucrative for both the British and French colonial ventures. These disagreements would form the background of the conflict.
The conflict would begin in earnest during the Battle of Jumonville Glen, which would see a British Force Lead by George Washington ambush and destroy a French force- thus triggering full blown warfare.
