EK,T = ΣEK,i
Each particle that makes up the rigid body has EKi = (1/2)mpv2 = (1/2)mp(xiω)2 (p=particle)
I for a particle at a set radius, xi, is Ip = mxi2 (like a hoop), so EKi = (1/2)Ipω2
Now summing up the EKI = (1/2) ω2 ΣIp, but the sum of the I's is the I of the entire body.
