Hello Tshering,
I am not an expert on steroids, but perhaps this question is related to the use of steroids among athletes, actors, and other individuals that feel a need to change their physical appearance (adolescents etc.), that are involved in body building.
Steroids mess with a person's hormones, and this can have negative side effects both physically and psychologically. Some physical side effects can develop in the form of headaches, increased blood pressure, nosebleeds, and acne. Steroid use can also impact a person psychologically by altering their mood, leading to irritability, insomnia and anxiety.
On top of that, steroids can impact one's self esteem. If someone sees other people using steroids, they might feel pressure to use it themselves, to achieve the same physical appearance. On the other hand, someone might not not know that a person is using steroids, and wonder why they aren't achieving the same results as a the person who is secretly using steroids.
I hope this helps!
