The y-intercept describes the location when the function touches the y-axis. We know that on the y-axis, x is equal to zero.
Therefore, we have to substitute zero for x in f(x).
f(0) = (0-3)(0-1)(0+2)
= (-3)(-1)(2)
= 6
*The negatives make a positive
Therefore, the coordinate of the y-intercept would be (0,6)
