Here's a try!

Look at the difference between the nos. in the 1st 2 rows.

For the 1st column: From 4 to 8 is 4, half of 4 is 2, 8 + 2 =10.

For the 2nd column: 9 to 5 is 4, half of 4 is 2, 5 - 2 = 3.

If the 3rd column follows suit, 20 - 14 is 6, half of 6 is 3, 14 - 3 = 11 (missing number??)

Perhaps someone else can find different relationship that answers the question.

my guess is 11.

in the other columns the progression is add/subtract 4, then add/subtract 2

in third column, first step is subtract 6, so next step would be to subtract 3.

Here is another maybe better look at the numbers. The first two columns add to 13 for each

row, and the 1st column is even numbers and the 2nd column odd numbers.

Say the third column is meant to be even numbers and what is the progression, 20 to 14, next is 14 to 8.

New better answer=8.
