PHYSICS DOUBT -

We know why the sky is blue, that's because the atmosphere contains particles that scatter the blue light, making the sky blue. But at night, why is the sky not blue or any other colour in the vibgyor? The stars too have white light that can be scattered again..

I wasn't responding to an inappropriate toxic comment. My explanation is not wrong. To be more explicit: A fraction of the blue spectrum light is absorbed and redirected. The sun and the starlight both result in scattering. The intensity of the sun's scattered light is much more intense than the stars' direct light, so you don't see them during the daylight hours. At night, the scattered light is a small fraction of the starlight. Note that the sun is directly visible during the day.
