Physics problem: find the depth of the pool

A person looks at the surface of water with an angle of 30 degrees and sees a coin 0.5 m further than it really is. What is the depth of the pool.

The answer I should get is around 16 cm.

Was there a drawing that went with this problem? The numbers don't make sense. If the coin appears 0.5m = 50cm farther away than it really is, then the water depth MUST be more than 16cm. If there was a drawing, please describe it to aid in solving the question. Also - is the angle with respect to the normal (usual in Snell's laws problems) or WRT the surface?
