a) False. the negative exponent means the number is less than 1, not that the number is negative. 2.0 x 10^-1 = 0.2 = +0.2
b) False. 2.0 x 10^0 is 2 in scientific notation. 1<2<10
c) True
d) True. an exponent of 6 means 6 zeros to the left of the decimal point. 2.0 x 10^6 = 2,000,000 = 2 million
e) False, it will be .000001
