The preterite of hacer is : hice, hiciste, hizo, hicimos, hicisteis, hicieron
this tense is used for a completed action in the past...a one time deal.
Ex: Miguel hizo mucha tarea ayer.
Yo hice una tarta chocolate con mi abuela.
Hacer
yo hice
tú hiciste
él-ella-usted hizo
nosotros hicimos
vosotros hicisteis
ellos-ellas-ustedes hicieron
Ejemplos:
El fin de semana pasado hizo buen tiempo.
Ayer mi amigo y yo hicimos la tarea de Matemáticas.

HACER to do/to make
Yo hice
Tú hiciste
Él/Ella/Usted hizo
Nosotros/Nosotras hicimos
Vosotros/Vosotras hicisteis
Ellos/Ellas/Ustedes hicieron
These are the preterite conjugations. The preterite is commonly referred to as the "simple past", meaning it is used for completed actions in the past that often have a timeframe (start/end), duration, or other context that implies it was not a habitual/repeated action, for which we would instead use the imperfect tense.
