Question

A boat is closing in to dock at 45.0 cm/s, there is something wrong with the engine, so it can´t stop by itself. The solution is to throw special equipment to the boat before it hits land. The equipment is thrown from a tower with the speed of 15.0 m/s. The equipment is also thrown at an 60.0 degree angle. the tower is 8.75 meter above sea level. How far away from the dock can the boat be for the equipment to reach just before the boat. Air resistance is none existing.
