“Intellectual growth should commence at birth and cease only at death.
They are all important, however in what order are they attained by a speaker of other language? Listening would come first because such as for a child who is learning to speak, we must speak and repeat things to help with understanding, eventually the individual will be able to mimic the sounds and begin repeating and speaking the language. Once speaking, reading and eventually writing comes hand in hand. Listening is where it begins.
