If someone bighearted a dictionary ,can he/ she speak from that language?

Question

Mohamed is a Maldivian.He doesn't know English speaking.  He bighearted an English dictionary.

He wanted to peak in English in this way.

Will it be possible him or her to speak English in this way?

Ibrahim,

It is unlikely that someone will be able to speak a language well simply by learning from a dictionary. The skills required to use a language are not tested and developed by reviewing a dictionary. Somebody can certainly learn vocabulary this way but that is a limited aspect of language learning. It would really be best to combine dictionary use with several other forms of study and practice to become fluent (at nearly any level) and use a language.

I am not sure if I have gotten the message right about your friend, but: Your friend may possibly have intended to say he/she has a HEART as big as AN ENGLISH Dictionary? In which case, he/she can learn anything. Learning English take heart--and hard work. The tutorial help I can give--I am a native speaker of English with teaching experience--would be to start simple conversations in order to gain a little comfort in English. Language is a living practice, and can only be learned by listening and speaking in meaningful learning experiences with a native speaker of that language.

Here is mini English lesson: Bighearted is an adjective, so your friend cannot bigheart or bighearted a dictionary. He or she might be able to READ a dictionary. Unfortunately, reading a dictionary will not help your friend be able to speak English. I agree with my colleague Phillip's answer on this.
