What are these letters doing in my equations? Here comes algebra!
Hi Emily--
Think of simplifying this the same way you would simplify an equation--combine the variable terms onto one side, and the constant terms onto the other, by adding or subtracting from both sides. So:
3t < 9
so t < 3
