Please explain the difference between an animal or plant cell.

animal cells are only protected by cell membranes while plant cells have a cell wall made of cellulose for that covers their cell membrane. Animal cells also produce much of their energy in the mitochondria, while plant cells have chloroplasts where the chemical reactions of photosynthesis take place!
