So knowing that there is a mutation that renders the enzyme homogentisic dioxygenase ineffective (either low activity, or no activity) isn't enough for you?
If you need the specific set of mutations that can do that, why don't you do an internet search for that enzyme and its mutations? It turns out to be prolifically subject to disruptive mutations -- the quoted article lists 157 of them, and states (in general terms) why they affect the enzyme's action.
