I'm not 100% sure, to be honest for fashion specific. But from what I have seen from other fashion drawing in my studies the bodies are typically exaggerated lengthwise. The emphasis would be on the clothing. Still, a solid foundation on drawing would help. Also learning about folds and how clothing could interact with the body would help overall. EG jeans, cotton, spandex all act differently. I would suggest also studying the materials a little bit.
