Which one of the following values is a solution to the equation g(x) - 20736=0, given g(x) = 12^(2x-6)?

what power of 12 is 20736?

When you keep dividing 20736 by 12; you will get 1 after 4 times

that mean 12^4 = 20736

Since g(x) = 12^(2x-6) = 20736;

So we have 4 = 2x - 6

4 = 2x - 6 (cancel -6)

10 = 2x

5 = x
