Failed Subjects That I Wanted To qualify in

Hi,

I failed a few subjects such as ACT Reading and ACT English that I wanted to tutor in. I feel a bit discouraged but I know I can be a good tutor in those subjects.

What would you recommend to me?

I know the feeling. These "placement tests" that WyzAnt tutors are required to pass with certain scores before we can be "certified" to tutor the given subjects here at the network can be disappointing depending on their outcomes, especially knowing that you cannot retake the tests in hopes of better results the second time(s) around.

What you can do is market yourself outside of WyzAnt so that you can still tutor these subjects even if they are not permissible on your WyzAnt tutor profile. WyzAnt's judgment on a tutor's qualifications/eligibility for to tutor any given subject matter is just their opinion. There are many other outlets on which you can market yourself and your skills at large.
