The respiratory and circulatory systems work together to provide cells with the oxygen needed for cellular respiration. Cells also need glucose as a substrate during cellular respiration. Glucose is a simple sugar you obtains from food. After breaking down complex food particles like sucrose into glucose these are then absorbed by the villi in small intestine and moves onto the cells by a process called Assimilation.
C6H1206 + O2 GIVES CO2 + H20 + energy . This CO2 is circulated through blood where it gets expelled out through your respiratory system (lungs). And O2 is taken in through the lungs , moves through the blood and reaches cell and so, this process continues.
