None of the above. Each of the nations that fought in World War I had their own distinct goals / war aims. Each one sought 'Victory', but, for each one, victory meant something different. None of these multiple choice answers adequately sum up this fact.

Each nation in World War I had its own goals. The British, French, and Germans each wanted resources from their colonies in Africa and Asia. Russia was weak after losing a war to Japan in 1904-05, and the Czar wanted to remain in power. Austria-Hungary wanted to keep control of Balkan states like Serbia.05/24/21
