asked 05/08/21One of your bike tires has a volume of 18.2 L at temperature of 22.0C. The temperature rises to 45.0C when a sudden heat wave hits the DFW area. Calculate the new volume of your tire.

Hi Jaccari S.,
You do a proportionation based on temperatures in Kelvin. Maybe. When was the last time you saw a heat-expandible bike tire, or one with a volume of 18.2 L (I'm assuming bicycle, not motorcycle)? Is this bike a rock-quarry work machine, perhaps? Even for DFW (what with Texas v. science) this is dubious.
