The tone of this film clip would probably be cynical or dreadful. The video is giving the ideal that Communism is bad or not good. Especially, when it pertains to America's interests and foreign policy relations in a growing communist society. Thus, in watching this video, you might see that the impacts of the Red Scare and McCarthyism on American society are deep and wide-spread. From the transfer of information through various mediums such as newspapers, advertisements, or even, face-to-face, many people were influenced by the propaganda and political rhetoric that guided the national responses and concerns against communism. This is supported with the anti-communism loyalists. Furthermore, this anti-communism support fueled the atmosphere of paranoia and suspicion among American citizens in the 1950s due to the following: all examples of communism were being filtered and analyzed by the U.S. government. And, the examples that were used to identify communism caused many to think that, simply, reading a newspaper or compelling minors against family and/or American values would strengthen the threat of Communism. And, of course, the purpose of the individuals or officials who thought that they knew what was best for the interest of the country was not to let it persist any longer.
