I would like to know what CRISPR has been used for in Leishmania?

ex. knockout studies... what else?

Hi Vivien,

There was a recent paper published in Nature Communications discussing a second generation vaccine on Leishmaniasis using CRISPR to knockout the gene centrin (this eliminates antibody resistance) in L. major (a less risky live-attenuated model than L. donovani)
