I don't understand how to solve this question. need good explanation

Maria has a gift box shaped like a rectangular prism. What is the volume of the box?

A box of plastic drinking straws is shown. What is the volume of the box in cubic inches

4 inches

Volume of a Rectangle = Width x Length x Height of an object.


Therefore, in the provided sample problem, the volume of the rectangular prism would be 2.5 x 12.5 x 10 = 312.50 cubic inches.


The second question you have listed is unclear since I do not see the box of drinking straws shown, however, the same process as described above should be used.
