I want a drawing based on the description please help!

Question

Laila and Mariam teach Aziza, who devote their knowledge for her education. Mariam teaches the Koran and Laila finally teaches at her school as a volunteer. The book ends with optimism for women's education, so that Zalmai (a boy) and Aziza (a girl) go together to school.

Description on aziza: The sponge is Aziza. As most children, her world is influenced by her. She does not discriminate; she takes both good and evil. The only thing she catches is she. In a country like Afghanistan, where there's a lot of bad, that can be a risky thing.

Please make a drawing based on this.

when you are going to illustrate a story, first thing is to research about the culture, architecture, ways to dress, etc., of people in the country your story takes place. Then you have to decide a style, according to your audience, the kind of story you are illustrating, if it is for printing or for animation... or as in my case, how much time do you have to perform your drawing. I just had 5 minutes so I used a very simple style.

'After you find your style you stablished your composition, just representing every main element of your scene as so simple shapes, in order to provide a place for everyone.

After that you really start drawing more and more details going always from general to particular, and trying to keep the illustration clear and balanced, more focused on the main elements (in my case the fases and the sacred book).

It is just a very basic sketch but I hope it is useful for you!

Hm. Is everything here the assignment, verbatim? How do you feel about the wording of this? Perhaps part of your difficulty is the assignment -- and how it's been presented. How do you feel about Aziza being a "sponge?" Or the characterization of children? If you're having difficulty with a lesson, maybe the problem isn't you. But you still have to make this work for you.

I read this book ages ago, so I'm forgetting the particulars, but I do remember that the knowledge of children -- on their own terms, was respected. In your drawing, you could go with -- or against -- the metaphors provided. Do you.
