The answer is A. The Tigris and Euphrates Rivers are connected to the Persian Gulf and irrigation systems were developedto transfer the water and silt from the Persian Gulf into Sumerian farms. B is wrong because Elephants neer inhabted Sumeria since the area outside Sumeria is composed of dry deserts and mountains and Elepehants thrive in tropical or warm climates like in Africa or India. C is proabale but itimplies that only the Euphrates River was used for agriculture when in fact both rivers were used and farmland could only develop around these rivers so expansion of famland beyond these region is impossible. And D is clearly wring since there arent any forests in the Middle East espcialaly not in Sumeria.
