r = d/t
60/2 = 30 mph for Roger
105/3 = 35 mph for Nicole. She's faster
in 8 hours Roger goes 8x30 = 240 miles
in 8 hours Nicole goes 8x35 = 280 miles
or Roger goes 180+2(30) = 240
he goes 180 in 6 hours + another 60 in 2 hours: total 240
Nicole goes 245 in 7 hours plus another 35 in one hour. total 280 miles
