Which type of reproduction produces offspring with more genetic variation.Sexual or asexual explain using meiosis and mitosis in your answer.

This is a very obvious question that it is a sexual reproduction that brings more genetic variation.
Then you need to discuss on how mitosis differs from meiosis in terms of crossing over etc. and explain how sexual reproduction brings more genetic variation.

Think about which parts of meiosis and mitosis can introduction some sort of genetic variation. Where do genes get traded? I would look up Crossing Over, Random Segregation, and Independent Assortment

Variation = more distinct input. However, mitosis you know duplicates a cell into two identical daughter cells, right? So basically, as soon as you hear the term 'identical,' you know that's not much genetic variation coming out of mitosis. The answer must be meiosis, so read up on that. As the other responder gave you good hints... start with 'crossing-over'... Cheers!03/31/21
