Tyler concludes that 5x^2 will always take larger values than 2^x for the same value of x.  Do you agree?  Explain or show your reasoning.

The conclusion does NOT work when x=0

0² = 0 so 5(0²) = 5*0 = 0

2⁰ = 1

1 > 0, so in this case 5x² will not be greater than x².
