A+B+C = 180
A=B
2A + C = 180
C=45+A
2A + 45 + A = 180
3A = 180-45 = 135
A = 135/3 = 45 degrees = each of two angles
3rd angle C = 90 degrees
angles are 45, 45 and 90 or pi/4, pi/4 and pi/2 radians
It's a right triangle. As soon as you saw the 45 in the problem, you might suspect it's a right triangle, with 45, 45 and 90 degrees.
