Answer: x<= -27
Rule is you need to flip the sign when multiplying negative numbers.
If you multiply both sides by -9 you get x>= -27.
But ask yourself what is > -27 -----> ie -26, -25, -24 etc but if you plug those numbers in the equation, this will not be true (-26/-9 = ~ 2.89.....smaller than 3). Because of this you need plug in anything thats LESS than -27, ie -28, -29, -30 so it can be >= 3. Hope that makes sense!
x/-9 > 3
multiply both sides by -9, which reverses the direction of the inequality
whenever you multiply by a negative number, the inequality reverses
x/-9 times -9 = x. 3 times -9 = -27
x < -27
