Vinay, I am not really sure what you are asking here.  However, here is how I would go from your first line to the answer....

 

4/3:2:2/3    [Multiply entire ratio by 3 to eliminate the fraction]

4:6:2          [Since all numbers are a multiple of 2, reduce ratio by dividing by 2]

2:3:1
