There are several ways you can setup this problem.  I like dimensional analysis.

 

2.5 pints (16oz/1pint)(1 glass/5oz)=8 glasses.

 

Another way you could do it:

2.5 pints * 16oz = 40 oz

40 oz/5 oz per glass = 8 glasses
