How do I answer these physics questions and what answer should I get?

A space habitat for a long space voyage consists of two cabins each connected by a cable to

central hub. The cabins are set to spin around the hub axis.


(a) What forces are acting on an astronaut in one of the cabins?

(b) Write the equation of motion for an astronaut

(c) What would the normal force have to equal if the 60 kg astronaut is to experience 0.5g of

acceleration?

(d) Calculate the necessary tangential speed of the habitat

(e) Calculate the period of rotation.
