Natural numbers are positive whole numbers (1, 2, 3, 4, 5, ...)

Integers are positive and negative whole numbers or zero (..., -5, -4, -3, -2, -1, 0, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5...)
Rational numbers include all integers as well as positive or negative numbers that have fractional parts ( -2.0, -3/4, 0.25, 2.1, 5, etc.)
Irrational numbers are numbers that can not be written as a simple fraction. Its decimal goes on forever without repeating (π = 3.14159....)
