To verify, choose a value for A and B for the equation AB = 0 and use substitution to solve. For example:
If A = 0 and B = 5, then 0 x 5 = 0
If A = 3 and B = 0. then 3 x 0 = 0
If A = 0 and B = 0, then 0 x 0 = 0
