HI Izzy,
Camel, horseshoe, hermit crab. What FUN to write a story using these three words. First, get in the right space. Clear your mind and prepare a writing area that is comfortable for you so that you can write uninterrupted. Close your eyes. Make friends with the camel and the hermit crab. See the details of the horseshoe and the characteristics of these two characters. I don't want to thwart your creativity, so I am suggesting possibilities, but creative writing is really about finding your own voice. Perhaps give the camel and hermit crab a problem to solve that is centered around the horseshoe. Do the camel and crab know each other? Are they friends? You can have them solve a problem together, or you can have one of them help the other. I suggested closing your eyes so that your imagination can see these characters and get a feel for their personalities. If you have a friend that can role play with you, one of you can pretend to be the camel and the other the crab to create an impromptu conversation. You can escalate the problem they might be facing and make it humorous, perhaps. I hope this helps.
Thank you,
Lara De Ann
