Since this equation only has 2 terms and both of them contain x, you can solve this problem by factoring out the GFC of both terms. Once you have factored out the GCF, you can solve for x by setting each factor equal to zero. Here is an example:
2x2-5x = 0
x(2x-5) = 0
x = 0 and 2x-5 = 0 so x=0 and x=5/2
