Just want to emphasize the point a little more here, gel electrophoresis is really good at telling you WHAT certain kinds of proteins are, which means it's easy to pick up whether or not a certain protein has been modified. But like I said in the video, it's less good once you need to get into the specifics of *how* things were modified, or the nature of those modifications.
